Two bodies of work

Two studios, one hand

Wholly Clay and Unwholly Works grow from the same workbench but speak in different voices. Each keeps its own identity under the PriestCraft umbrella.

Wholly Clay – Pottery by Priest

Sculptural ceramics with a face

Face vessels

Vessels that hold presence

Each vessel is shaped to have a personality before it holds anything. Expressive faces, organic surfaces, and glazes that respond to the kiln.

Raku and obvara

Fire does the final talking

Raku, obvara, and horsehair firings produce sheens and crackle no two pieces share. Glaze and flame each have a say in the outcome.

Unwholly Works

Dark humor, handmade

Mixed-media works that find a wry corner of the macabre. Handmade Zombie Nutcrackers stand guard beside assemblages built from found and fabricated parts, each one a quiet joke with a serious surface.

Unwholly Works is an unconventional practice where whimsy and mortality share a shelf. Visit the standalone site to see the full body of work.
